I created this book cover illustration after reading “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee - a synopsis can be found here.

I wanted the image to capture a sense of the time period it was set in, as well as finding an intelligent way of integrating the mockingbird metaphor and symbolic items from the story.
