Last year, my illustrations were featured in UK supermarket Waitrose as part of their Christmas range for children.
I didn’t post many of the illustrations at the time but quite a lot of work went into them (almost half a year of work, in fact), so I thought it would be good to highlight some of my favourites in the run-up to this Christmas.
First up are these illustrations I created for two wrapping paper designs. The first design evolved from the idea of Santa’s present-delivering journey.
The second design was developed from initial illustrations of polar bears - originally they were standing on all fours but once they had been given ice skates, their gliding antics seemed rather suited to a pattern with the addition of elements such as typography.
